Mansfield families looking for the Renaissance Theatre’s next Main Stage outing can circle Friday, Sept. 11, 2026. MY Theatre: Newsies Jr. opens that night for a three-day run, the first clearly scheduled September Main Stage production following the week that begins Aug. 30.
No events are scheduled Sunday through Thursday of opening week before Newsies Jr. takes the stage Friday. The schedule comes from the theater’s official ticketing and event listings, operated by the Renaissance Performing Arts Association.
Opening weekend
Richland Source reported that Mansfield Youth Theatre will present Newsies Jr. as part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series. The production runs on the Renaissance Main Stage from Sept. 11 through Sept. 13.
Opening night begins at 7 p.m. Friday. Two performances follow at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, with a final show at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13.
Tickets and venue
Performances will be held at the Renaissance Main Stage, 138 Park Avenue West in Mansfield.
General admission for regular performances starts at $15. A $45 Family Night Package includes four seats, popcorn and water.

Sensory-friendly matinee
The 1 p.m. Saturday performance is designated as sensory-friendly. Admission is free for up to six people; groups larger than six and families without sensory needs pay $15 per ticket.
Advance registration is required, and walk-up attendance will not be permitted.
